Croupier. The industry, dealt straight.

How we work

We are open about our process, including our use of AI.

1. Primary sources only

Software checks the official channels listed below several times a day: regulators' news pages, company newsrooms and investor-relations releases and, for US-listed companies, filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC EDGAR). We don't rewrite other publications' articles.

2. AI-assisted drafting

A language model (Claude, by Anthropic) drafts a short story using only the facts in the source document, translating where needed and following our house style. It is instructed not to add facts, figures or quotes that are not in the source.

3. Automated fact-check

A second, independent model pass compares every claim in the draft — including every number and percentage — with the source. Stories with any unsupported claim are held back.

4. Human review

Croupier Editorial Team reviews stories before publication and is responsible for everything we publish.

Offshore licensing

We report on licensing authorities such as Curaçao and Anjouan as news, neutrally. Reporting on a licence is not an endorsement of any operator, and a licence in one jurisdiction does not make gambling legal in another.

What we don't do

We don't publish betting tips, investment advice, casino reviews, bonus offers or affiliate links.
