NuxGame lets casino operators run tournaments on any provider's games

Casino operators on NuxGame’s platform can now run their own tournaments on games from any provider, without asking studios for approval. NuxGame, a B2B iGaming software provider based in Limassol, Cyprus, said on 9 October 2026 that tournaments, leaderboards and wager races are live for real-money and sweepstakes casino operators. Wager races are scored on turnover.

How it works

Until now, the company says, most tournament tools in iGaming were run by individual game studios, which tied operators to those providers and their terms. NuxGame has built its own engine into the platform, so the operator owns the rules, the prize table and the point rates.

Operators choose games by provider, type, category or single title, and set a base rate for how much turnover earns a point. They can override the rate per game, entry thresholds (minimum bet, number of bets and total turnover) and prizes: cash, shop points or tier-programme experience. Tournaments can run daily, weekly, monthly or over a custom period, and up to ten can run at once.

A risk setting excludes games flagged for transaction behaviour that lets players earn more points than intended. At launch the feature covers casino content only. The company lists segmentation by player tier or game activity as the next planned addition.

Why it matters

Tournament terms move from the studio to the operator. NuxGame’s chief product officer, Denis Kosinsky, said point overrides let operators pay more on games they want played and less on others. The company also suggests operators can offer a tournament on a studio’s games as something to trade in commercial talks.

The release gave no pricing and no names of operators using the feature.
