Personal management licence (PML)
A licence held by an individual, not a company: senior managers of gambling businesses in Great Britain need one to be responsible for areas such as strategy, finance, compliance or anti-money laundering.
In practice
The head of compliance at a licensed operator must hold a personal management licence. The Gambling Commission can review it, so regulatory failures at a company can have consequences for named managers as well.
