A Dutch enforcement tool: the regulator orders a company to end a violation and sets a sum that becomes payable only if the company does not comply in time.
In practice
The Dutch regulator often uses such orders against unlicensed gambling sites: stop accepting Dutch players or pay a set amount for each week the offer continues. It is a threat of payment, not a fine already imposed, which is why The Payout does not count these orders as sanctions.
